Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower construction began on January 26, 1887 and was completed on March 31, 1889. The Tower stands 324 meters tall with three floors open to the public; the ground floor, first and second floor and top floor. There are plenty of things to see and do when visiting the Eiffel Tower; from food to shopping to just watching the scenes of Paris unfold around you.

There are three levels to explore, the ground floor, first and second floor and top level. Working upward from the ground floor, you start your tour at the bust of Gustave Eiffel; where you will also find a souvenir shop. The first floor contains an Observatory of the Tower Top Movement, where a laser shows the movement of the tower. The FerOscope is also found here and this includes interactive videos, light shows and video glasses. On the second floor there are souvenir shops, a snack bar, the famous Le Jules Verne Restaurant, animated window scenes and internet access stations. The top floor is truly the show stopper; containing a representation of Gustave Eiffel's office, panoramic indicators and viewpoint indicators.
