London Eye

From this structure you can get a clear view of the surrounding scenery of London for nearly 20 miles. It is the world's tallest observation wheel and is the fourth tallest structure in United Kingdom . It is also known as the Millennium Wheel. This gigantic wheel measures 450 feet and weighs over 1600 tons. It was crafted by architectural duo, husband and wife, David Marks and Julia Barfield. The pair were winners of a competition for the most imaginative project to mark the new millennium.

At any given time the London Eye can carry nearly 800 visitors for approximately half an hour in its various sightseeing pods. In each day the London Eye caters to approximately 15,000 guests and the London Eye is great entertainment for the kids.
