Perth is the capital and the largest city of the state of Western Australia. It has a Mediterranean climate with warm, sunny weather for most of the year. 

Perth’s beaches are relatively uncrowded and are always clean, making them one of the city’s main attractions. Sorrento Beach is one of the best, providing safe swimming for people of all ages. All Perth’s beaches have cafes within walking distance.

Kings Park and Botanic Gardens is one of the city’s largest attractions with the parklands and attractive gardens covering over 400 hectares. Perth Zoo is also worth a visit. It can be reached by taking a short ferry ride from the city and is home to a number of Australian species such a wallabies, dingoes and kangaroos.

 

Visitors heading outside the city can find Yanchep National Park where they can see koalas and kangaroos or go on one of the daily culture tours. Visitors can also take a tour of the mystical Crystal Cave.
