Sydney Travel Guide

Sydney is the capital of New South Wales and is the largest city in Australia.

The most well-known attractions in Sydney include Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You should definitely make every effort to visit both of these as they are as spectacular as their reputations promise. The three-hour Bridge Climb to the top of the bridge is one of the most popular activities in Sydney and can be done during the day or at night.

Sydney is also famous for its beaches, in particular Bondi Beach. Shelley Beach is a lovely sheltered beach, perfect for swimming and picnics with the family.

The outdoor areas in Sydney are a great place to enjoy the city’s warm summers and cool winters and tourists can hike or camp in the rainforests and eucalyptus woods found just outside the city.

For a day of family fun, you can head to the Luna Park, where everyone will enjoy the rides, entertainment, food and views. Another must for families is a visit to Oceanworld in Manly, where you can watch the sharks being fed and may even have the opportunity to stay the night.

There is always something to do at Sydney Olympic Park, where there is an ever-changing schedule of events and sports fixtures. Sports lovers can also take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Park.

Sydney has all the shopping you would expect from a city this size, and fashion fans will find everything they need to keep up with the latest trends.
